HIV Infected Pregnant Mothers
In order to stop the spread of HIV/AIDS we have to ensure that no child is born with this horrible disease. For this reason we have established a programme to help prevent mother to child transmission. The Raja foundation distributes a tablet called Nevarapin that is given to the mothers shortly before delivery and helps to prevent the transmission of HIV to their babies. So far 187 women have received this treatment from the Raja foundation resulting in a 100% success rate therefore preventing the transmission of HIV to their new born babies. In doing this we reduce the spread of HIV/AIDS and allow the innocent children to grow up happy and healthy and give them the chance at life they deserve.

Tragically this innocent little boy (left) has to live with the harrowing effects of HIV.

However befor his brother was born his mother recieved the Navrapin Pill and he

was granted the gift of a HIV free life.
